Mauritius Government Scholarship for Africans is calling the attention of interested applicants for its ongoing annual scholarship for the session of 2022-2023.

Mauritius is an country located in the Indian ocean near the island country of Madagascar. The program is sponsored by the Mauritius Ministry of Education with sole objective of given opportunity to talented citizens of the countries that are member states of African Union or the Commonwealth.

The Mauritius Government Scholarship give opportunities to undergraduate, and Postgraduate candidates.


Successful applicants will enjoy many benefits that includes the following:

  1.  Full tuition for the duration of your study
  2.  Monthly living expenses of Rs 8,300 equivalent to 266 USD
  3. Airfare to Mauritius to start the study, and then to your home country after finishing your study


  1. An applicant should be a citizen of member states of the African Union or the Commonwealth
  2.  A candidate should not be more than 26 years for undergraduate, 35 for Masters, and 45 for PhD.
  3.  A candidate most have applied for studies in any public Tertiary Institution in Mauritius
  4.  An undergraduate candidate most possess a good grade secondary school certificate. For Masters you most possess an undergraduate degree. While for PhD, a candidate most possess good Masters degree.
  5. A candidate should possess good certificate or evidence of English Proficiency. For example, TOEFL with minimum score of 500 or IELTS with minimum score of 5.5 minimum score of
